Here are the 3 key takeaways:

1) 4 Important Recent Brain Discoveries

  • Babies are born with different patterns of brain abilities
  • There are 5 core “brain pillars” – visual, auditory, motor, focus, emotions, with many subskills
  • Behaviours are symptoms of brain fitness levels
  • Our brains can improve through exercise

2) Principles that Guide Effective Brain Training

There are 2 main types of brain training – process-based training and strategy-based training. For process-based brain training, exercises that require constant updating of working memory have been found to be far more effective. Other important training considerations are:

  • Frequency & Duration
  • Adaptive “mental weights”
  • Specificity of Training
  • Transfer Effects

3) BrainFit Scholar – Neuroscience-based brain training programme

BrainFit Scholar uses the unique “4T” Approach for a powerful whole-brain cognitive training experience for the best results.

  • Test: Test using BrainFit® CognitiveMAP, a standardized whole-brain cognitive fitness and mindset assessment.
