Oral Reading
The student makes oral reading of texts of various complexity. The student starts with reading out loud and listening to correct pronunciation.
Each reading is checked for comprehension and meaning.
Vocabulary
When a student has difficulty reading a word, Reading Assistant provides a visual cue. If the student does not self-correct, the software intervenes by pronouncing the word.
Supported Practice
We have the only program that uses advanced speech recognition technology to listen to students and offer them corrective feedback on decoding and pronunciation when they start to stumble.
Phonological Fluency
This exercise improves the student’s ability to recognise similar sounding spoken words by using auditory/visual spatial working memory to locate matching syllables.

This exercise builds phonemic discrimination and listening comprehension skills that help students recognise different sounds.
