MULTI – STEP DIRECTIONS
Younger students improve listening accuracy, listening comprehension and the ability to follow instructions.
It sounds different, doesn’t it? That’s because Fast ForWord foundation modules use patented technology to slow and amplify the specific hard-to-process sounds of the English language. Children start with exercises that help them perceive and process speech sounds appropriately, while simultaneously building grammar, comprehension, and vocabulary. Research shows that this bottom-up approach leads to improved language and reading skills, in just a few months.
ENGLISH GRAMMAR
The students learns all forms of grammar – propositions, tenses, single/plural, etc.
e.g. In this exercise the student works on prepositions “the boy cleans for granny / the boy cleans with granny “.
VOCABULARY
The student builds auditory word recognition and semantic categories including maths, science, anatomy, biology, nature and other academic terms.
Once the language foundation is solid, students continue with a series of Fast ForWord Reading products to
build critical reading skills, develop advanced reading comprehension, and expand vocabulary.
PHONOLOGICAL FLUENCY
In this word identification exercise students improve phonological accuracy and word recognition skills.
PHONEMIC DISCRIMINATION
Builds phonemic discrimination and listening comprehension skills that help students differing letter sounds. Listen for the change in the Bi/Di phonemes.
